A watch and tablet were stolen during one of three burglaries in the Drumbeg and Dunmurry areas which occurred last Wednesday (June 26).
Police believe all the incidents are linked.
In the first incident, which occurred sometime between 9.45am and 2.45pm on Wednesday, entry was gained to the property in The Steadings area of Drumbeg and a number of items of jewellery were taken. A dark blue hatchback was seen in the area at around 10.30am.
Another burglary was reported to have occurred in the Glenhead Avenue area of Dunmurray, with entry being gained to the property sometime between 8am and 6pm.
A further report was received by police of a burglary in the Finaghy Road area of Dunmurry sometime between 9am and lunchtime. It was reported a watch and a tablet were stolen.
Constable McIlveen said police believe these incidents may be linked.
“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incidents to contact police in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference number 1244 26/06/19,” added the constable.
