Two teenagers, aged 18, have been injured after being assaulted at a house in south Belfast.
The incident happened on Thursday night.
Detectives are appealing for information following the aggravated burglary which happened at Inishowen Drive just after 11:30pm.
Detective Sergeant McCartan said a number of men gained entry to the house.
“A man and woman both aged 18 years old who were inside the property were assaulted. Both received treatment for their injuries which were not believed to be life threatening. It is believed that nothing was taken from the property following the incident,” he said.
And he added: “Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1487 13/11/20.
