Vandals have smashed windows in three cars, stealing two handbags and one sat nav within the past 24 hours.
The break-ins have occurred around the Stranmillis and Lisburn Road areas of south Belfast – Strandview Street and Sandhurst Drive in Stranmillis and Mount Prospect Park off the lower Lisburn Road.
And now police are reminding people to never leave valuables on view in cars.
“Valuables should never be left on view in your vehicle, and never wait till you park up before hiding that item under your seat or in the boot, as someone could well be watching,” said a police spokesperson.
