Travellers coming into Northern Ireland from outside the Common Travel Area will be required to isolate themselves for 14 days, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
New quarantine regulations are currently being set in place by the Northern Ireland Executive.
The Common Travel Area covers the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
The self isolation rule is already in place in the Republic of Ireland.
It will be an offence to breach the self-isolation requirements.
Many airlines are recommencing their holiday flights, including Jet2 which is resuming its programme on July 1.
However travel expert Simon Calder has warned that the UK government could be in talks to ban international travel for the entire summer.
The news comes as travel operators try to revive the industry and help create safe means for travellers to enjoy their holidays.
