Twelve more deaths and 130 more cases of COVID-19

There are 130 new cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland.

Twelve more people have died.

To date, 48 people who tested positive have been victims of COVID-19.

Meanwhile in England, a nurse who was on the frontline of the coronavirus battle has died of coronavirus.

Areema Nasreen, 36, had been on a ventilator after developing a temperature, body aches and a cough. She had worked for the NHS for more than 16 years and is the youngest NHS worker to die from COVID-19 so far.

And the impact of COVID-19 on the Northern Ireland Hospice means the income has reduced to seriously low levels.

The organisation says if this continues it would not be able to survive.
