Two men and a woman were arrested following the attempted robbery of a shop in Castle Street in Belfast this evening (Friday).
A man wearing a balaclava entered the shop around 5:40pm, armed with a suspected firearm, and demanded money from staff members, who refused to hand any cash over.
The man then left the shop and made off from the scene.
The 52-year-old man and 51-year-old woman arrested yesterday following the attempted robbery have been released on police bail pending further enquiries. A 61-year-old man has also been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
