Two men and a woman have been beaten with a crowbar during a burglary in north Belfast.
The aggravated burglary occurred at a house in Wyndham Street around 7.15am this morning (Sunday 14 July).
Detective Inspector Keith Wilson said police received a report that two men, armed with a crowbar, had forced entry to a house and assaulted two men and a woman who were in the property.
They were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries that are not considered life threatening. The intruders then made off from the property on foot.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference 499 14/07/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” added the Detective Inspector.
