Jewellery has been stolen from a shop in Portrush.
Two men aged 16 and 22 have been arrested following the report of a robbery at business premises at Dunluce Avenue in Portrush this afternoon (Friday).
Shortly before 11:20am, two men, one armed with a knife, entered the shop.
A member of staff was threatened during the incident but although he was not injured, he was left badly shaken.
The two men made off with jewellery in a blue BMW towards the Victoria Street area, according to police.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped and both men were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. They are continuing to assist police with their enquiries.
