Two motorcyclists were taken to hospital following a three vehicle collision earlier this afternoon on the M2.
The motorway has now re-opened.
A red Volkswagen Beetle and two motorcycles were in collision at around 2.15pm approaching Belfast, between Fortwilliam and the Docks.
The two motorcyclists were taken to hospital for treatment following the collision which caused severe disruption to traffic for a number of hours.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured the collision on dash-cam to contact them at Sprucefield on 101 quoting reference number 995 04/09/20.
