Two school pupils have been treated by paramedics after a bus was involved in a serious collision with a car in Clough, near Downpatrick.
Twelve pupils were on board the bus when the collision happened at around 8:40am this morning.
A third pupil was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car and his passenger have also been taken to hospital, along with the driver of the bus.
Police believe, at this time, the injuries of the pupils on board the bus are non-life threatening.
Police are still at the scene on the Downpatrick Road.
The road is closed, and will remain shut for some time as police deal with the collision.
Police ask drivers to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
