Two men, one of whom had a suspected firearm, entered a house in north Belfast and threatened two women.
Nothing was taken and the two women were not injured in the incident which occurred shortly before 12:30pm at Summerhill Court yesterday afternoon (Friday, March 1).
Detectives are appealing for information following the aggravated burglary.
Detective Sergeant Gill said enquiries are continuing and police are appealing for information.
“We would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 589 2/3/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” added Detective Sergeant Gill.
