Two young children who were reported missing from their home in Ardoyne, in north Belfast have been re-united with their families.
This is one of the many incidents that police dealt with overnight, Saturday into Sunday.
They also brought a person in distress on the Westlink bridge to safety.
And an investigation has been launched into an assault on the Shankill Road.
Across Larne and Carrick, arrests were made in connection with assault, disorderly behaviour, assault on police, possession of an offensive weapon and suspected drink driving.
In Belfast’s Cathedral quarter police also assisted a number of people who had too much to drink, to get home.
In Lurgan, a number of cars had their wing mirrors broken.
These incidents occurred in the vicinity of Pollock Drive and Mourne Road last night between 8pm and 10.45pm.
Police were on patrol in the area when they came across the broken wing mirrors.
“Now this not only costs the owner time and money to have these fixed and possibly insurance costs rising. It also is dangerous for the driver if they are in immediate need to use the vehicle, and for pedestrians or animals walking with the remnants of the glass on the pavement.
“If you saw or heard anything in the area, were travelling through and have dash cam footage, please contact police quoting police reference number 2023 of the 7th September,” added a spokesperson.
