A vehicle was stolen in a creeper style burglary at Loughshore Manor in Newtownabbey in the early hours of this morning (Friday 9 July).
The theft occurred shortly before 3.30am.
Police say the property had been entered via a front door and that car keys along with a vehicle had been stolen.
These incidents are becoming more frequent and police would urge the public to take simple preventative measures by closing windows, locking the front door and not leaving keys in an easily accessible and visible position.
If you have a garage and an alarm system available the advice is to use them to assist with deterring this form of crime.
