A vigil will be held this Saturday evening at Castle Green in Carrickfergus to remember murder victim Glen Quinn.
The vigil to show solidarity with Glen’s family and friends will be held at 6pm.
The event will be held one week after Glen, who was aged in his forties, was discovered beaten to death in Ashleigh Park in the Woodburn area.
Last week Det Supt Jason Murphy said he was aware of speculation circulating that the death was ‘in some way related to the activities of South East Antrim UDA.’
“Rumour and speculation within the community is likely to be unhelpful as we seek to establish the circumstances surrounding this man’s death and I would appeal to the community to contact us,” he added.
A public vigil in memory of Glenn Quinn (please share) Folks there has been a huge out pouring of grief and shock…
