Petrol bombs, fireworks and rocks were thrown over the Lanark Way gates for over two hours last night as both sides clashed following riotous scenes on the Shankill.
The Police Federation For Northern Ireland posted a video showing groups of youths rioting.
Community leaders including a pastor and a Sinn Fein representative tried to quell the disturbance.
Earlier, a bus was hijacked and set on fire in the Shankill.

I am deeply concerned by the scenes of violence in Northern Ireland, especially attacks on PSNI who are protecting the public and businesses, attacks on a bus driver and the assault of a journalist. The way to resolve differences is through dialogue, not violence or criminality.
