People living in Antrim are in for a shopping treat this new year.
The Little Book of Vouchers will be circulated to householders in the Antrim area.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has teamed up with 31 traders in Antrim town to offer residents and visitors the chance to indulge in some retail therapy to kick off 2019.
The vouchers will be valid in stores from January 7.
There will be many discounts to be enjoyed on a wide range of goods and services, including fashion, beauty treatments, dining out and home wear.
One of the local businesses which has benefited from the scheme is Taylor and Toal Opticians in High Street, Antrim.
Gary Toal said the voucher booklet is a great initiative to encourage customers to shop local.
“We are delighted to be involved again this year,” he added.
The Mayor, Councillor Paul Michael said the vouchers are a great incentive to get people shopping in Antrim town.
“We understand everyone feels the pinch in January and we hope the Little Book of Vouchers will help you pick up a bargain for yourself or a gift for someone,” he added.
