A warning has been issued about the dangers that giant hogweed poses after it was found growing on the banks of the Six Mile Water.
The Six Mile Water Trust says it is dangerous when it comes into contact with bare skin and it’s asking parents to be aware of the risks to children.
It’s prompted a flurry of posts on social media from people urging action to be taken to combat its growth.
