A naked man jumped into a shark tank at an aquarium in downtown Toronto on Friday night.
He bought a ticket and then immediately took off his clothes before climbing over the security barrier to jump into the water, Ripley’s Aquarium officials said in a statement.
A one minute-long video posted on YouTube shows the man taking off his clothes and diving into a tank at the aquarium that offers an underwater gallery to marine animals.
The nude man can be seen swimming on the surface of the water.
“Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is cooperating with authorities and is willing to press all appropriate charges once the individual has been apprehended,” a statement read.
Videos captured by onlookers show the man swimming in the tank as sharks pass by in the water beneath.
The naked man then pulled himself out of the tank, climbed over the gate and made his way into the crowd where he was handed what appeared to be clothing.
