An uninsured driver and a passenger abandoned a car after damaging a vehicle while driving down the wrong side of the road, frightening two young girls.
The incident happened on the Old Ballygawley Road near Dungannon on Friday.
A helicopter assisted with the operation but police have yet to identify the culprits.
“Where you in the area? Do you have Dash Camera footage of the two people who abandoned the car after damaging a vehicle as the driver drove down the wrong side of the road and footpath, frightening two young girls?” a police spokesperson said.
“We need your help to identify these two people who were involved. If you have any information that can help please contact police quoting reference 885 12/10/18 or contact Crimestoppers to report anonymously.
“On a positive note that’s one more uninsured vehicle off the roads in Mid-Ulster,” added the spokesperson.
