Weather warning for sleet and snow

A weather warning is in place for more sleet and snow showers, from 8pm tonight (Tues) until 10am tomorrow (Wed).

Tonight will be cold and there will be clear intervals. However Northern Ireland will be affected by occasional showers, some wintry with hail, sleet and snow on higher ground.


On Wednesday, there will be westerly winds bringing a mix of rain, sleet and snow showers, these more frequent in west. The maximum temperature will be 6 °C.

Thursday will see sunshine and wintry showers, and rain will come in from southwest on Friday It will turn milder. Colder showery weather is expected on Saturday with strong winds.
