The lorry driver who sustained serious facial injuries after a wheelie bin filled with rocks was hurled from the Ballyboley overpass is Fra McCaffrey who is 56.
Well wishes have flooded in for west Belfast man Fra who has undergone surgery in hospital.
The incident happened on Friday (8 January) at around 10.40pm.
Fortunately Fra was able to stop at the side of the road following the incident.
An investigation is underway and officers would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area of the overpass or who captured dash-cam footage of the incident to contact them in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 1944 08/01/21.
