A west Belfast frozen food store will open early on Tuesday for older shoppers only.
The slot on Tuesday at Iceland in the Kennedy Centre (March 17) from 8am to 9am has been allocated specifically to allow older people to shop without being surrounded by other shoppers.
This is in response to the possible spread of coronavirus which puts older people, especially those with underlying health issues, more at risk.
The company is asking the public to respect this hour, and understand that this time is allocated for elderly people only.
As of 2pm on Sunday 15 March, testing has resulted in 11 new positive cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Northern Ireland to 45.
People with mild symptoms – new persistent cough and/or fever – should stay at home and self-isolate for seven days. They will not require testing.
