A security alert in the Glasvey Drive area of west Belfast has been declared a hoax.
It follows the report of the discovery of a suspicious object yesterday evening (Saturday 14 August).
Police and Ammunition Technical Officers attended the scene, and two controlled explosions were carried out on the object, which is being deemed as a hoax.
The remains of the object has since been removed for further forensic examination.
All cordons have been lifted and police would like to thank the local community for their patience as we worked to make the area safe.
