What should you do with your dog when a new baby arrives in the home?
If you want to know the answer to this and more, then the Merchant Hotel is the venue for a seminar which aims to help you ease your dog into this new experience. It is hosted by Lucy’s Trust and Owenbeg Dog Behaviour.
Anna Barron (veterinary surgeon) and Susan Finlay (canine behaviourist) will provide the information you need to keep everyone happy at this time. The talks will also cover how to keep your child safe through toddlerhood and growing up.
The event is ideal for expectant mums and dads, parents with young children, grandparents, aunts and uncles, or anyone who will be in charge of a dog and a child at the same time.
Those interested are encouraged to attend both days. Week one will focus on pregnancy and small babies, while week two concentrates on the situation with toddlers and young children.
Dates – March 22 and 29 – both events begin at 2pm.
