A family event takes place this Saturday (August 3) at CS Lewis Square.
Children and adults can come along and join in the annual Festival Fun Day. There will be arts and craft activities for all ages. This year’s highlights include craft with Redhead Thread, a Teddy Bear’s Treasure Hunt, storytelling, street performers, face painting and live entertainment.
This event is held as part of the EastSide Arts Festival 2019.

On Sunday, August 11, there is another family fun day, this time at Springhill in Moneymore.
It runs from 11am until 4pm. There is a fantastic programme planned for the entire day including Phil’s Farm, live music and fun fair amusements.

The music of the 1970s will take centre stage at this year’s Party in The Park at Antrim Castle Gardens. There is four hours of music from era, with tributes to the Bay City Rollers. Cher NI and This Way Up will also be performing.
This festival will include crazy golf, arts and crafts, swing boats, balloon modelling, face painting, bungee trampolines, and a range of culinary delights from the food fayre.
It all takes place this Saturday (August 3) from 1pm to 5pm.

Belfast Careers Fair takes place at Ten Square Hotel in Donegall Square South on Friday, August 9 from 10am to 2pm.

Join BBC Radio 3 for a series of Summer Invitation Concerts with the Ulster Orchestra and guests over the next few days.
These concerts at the Ulster Hall are a popular feature of the summer in Belfast.
Each series of BBC Summer Invitation Concerts has a theme and this year the focus will be on arrangements and transcriptions. This means that concert-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy many familiar pieces of music that have been adapted or re-imagined, based on their original scores.

Avenue Q is on at the Waterfront Hall from August 7 to 10.

If you’re in the west Belfast area, you will want to attend the events which make up to Féile an Phobail. It’s a community arts festival for the area and it takes place from 1st to 11th August.
There are plenty of events including Phil Coulter at Clonard Monastery on August 6, as well as Boyzone who play in Falls Park on Saturday, August 10.
One of the most successful bands, Boyzone has had 21 singles in the top 40 UK charts. They have sold over 25 million records worldwide.

The Walled City Tattoo in Concert 2019 returns with another spell-binding mix of top class talent at the Millennium Forum in Londonderry.
Join the 200 strong cast as they tell of the building of the city walls this Saturday (August 3).
