A partial reopening of some sectors will come into effect next Friday, following discussion among the NI Executive.

Hair and beauty salons and close contact services such as driving instructors will re-open by appointment on Friday (20 November)

Unlicensed premises such as cafes and coffee shops will also open their doors next Friday. However, it’s understood that this will not include the purchase or consumption of alcohol on the premises.

Restaurants, pubs and hotels will be back in business from 27 November.

The DUP and ministers from smaller parties backed the proposal by the economy minister, Diane Dodds.
