A woman has been arrested after the car that she was driving crashed into a wall and a play park fence in Newtownards.
The collision happened at a children’s play park at Abbot Gardens at around 12.20pm today (Sunday, 24 October).
Inspector Jonny Hart said thankfully, there were no reports of injuries.
“The female driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and dangerous driving. She remains in custody at this time.
“We would like to thank the community for their cooperation, as police carry out enquiries in the local area,” he said.
