Woman in hospital after being rescued from Dungannon house fire

A woman is in hospital after being rescued from a house fire near Dungannon last night (Monday, 19 October).

Firefighters were called to the blaze which broke out at the property on Annaghbeg Road in Tamnamore shortly after 10:20pm.


A woman who was inside the house was rescued and a PSNI officer assisted with administering first aid.

The woman, who was the only person inside the house, remains in hospital this morning.

Inspector Stickland said: “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who helped at the scene last night. Our enquiries into what occurred continue and anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, and quote reference number 1944 of 19/10/20.”
