A woman has been left badly shaken following a shooting at a house in Closnamona Court, west Belfast yesterday (Friday, November 16).
A shot was fired at a house with what’s believed to have been a shotgun. The incident happened sometime between 1:30am and 6am.
Damage was caused to the front door of the property. No one was injured, but a woman resident was left badly shaken.
Police are also investigating a possible link to a report of a parked car being damaged in Aitnamona Crescent in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The rear windscreen of the car was damaged. One man was arrested in relation to the damaged vehicle, but was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Doherty said police are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information about these incidents to get in touch.
