A hiker is being treated for a suspected broken leg after falling on the Cavehill.
The incident occurred earlier this afternoon at an area of loose rock below McArt’s Fort.
The woman had been walking on the hill, just north of Belfast, when she sustained the injury.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the scene along with police, the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Mountain Rescue Team.
It’s understood the woman is in her 50s.
