A woman experienced a bleed to her brain after her head was stamped on in an assault last Saturday morning in west Belfast.

The woman was walking along St James’ Crescent in direction of St James’ Road last Saturday morning at around 9:35am.

Police say she was seriously assaulted by three unknown women in an unprovoked attack. Her head was stamped on during the assault causing her to lose consciousness.

The three women are described as being in their late 20s or early 30s and all were dressed in clothes which would suggest they had been out the previous night.
