Strong winds are beginning to pick up across Northern Ireland this morning, particularly in the east.
A yellow weather warning for high winds has been issued for parts of the province today.
Gusts of up to 50/60mph are possible and heavy rain will fall at times.
There may also be a risk of disruption to travel along with possible interruption to power supplies.
Drier and somewhat brighter weather will spread from the west through the afternoon.
Carrickfergus was particularly badly affected by flooding on Monday.
