A young boy was taken to hospital after a collision with a car on the Springfield Road in west Belfast at around 8.40am on Thursday morning.
The driver was spoken to by PSNI officers at the scene.
The boy remains in hospital at this time.
Police in west Belfast are appealing for witness following the collision.
Inspector Philip McCullagh is appealing for dash cam footage.
“Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to witnesses or those who may have dash cam footage to this collision, or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to this collision, to get in touch with us to assist the investigation on 101 quoting reference number 101 322 21/10/21,” he added.
