A cash till at the Enchanted Winter Garden in Antrim’s Castle Gardens was damaged after youths attempted to break into it last night (Saturday).
Police say it’s believed that a number of youths entered the gardens at around 10:30pm and removed a till from a payment kiosk, damaging it.
They say thankfully there was no money in the till at the time.
And they say there may be minor disruption today (Sunday) due to the incident.
“These actions will undoubtedly cause disruption for staff tomorrow in setting up the Enchanted Winter Garden and we would ask anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1439 of 8/12/18,” added a PSNI spokesperson.
