A fast food outlet in Carrickfergus had to close last night due to a crowd of about 50 youths being in the area.
Police were quick to arrive on the scene and the crowd dispersed from McDonald’s.
They say there have been several more incidents of anti-social behaviour in the area.
And they’re appealing to parents to be wary of what their children are doing.
Police also say they are aware of reports of train conductors so concerned for their safety due to drunken youths, meaning they had to stop and hold the train until the young people got off.
“Once again I feel like a stuck record,” said a police spokesperson.
“We have been responding to several reports of antisocial behaviour again.
“McDonalds in Carrickfergus had about 50 youths in the area which resulted in them closing. Police were quick to arrive and the crowd moved,” added the police spokesperson.
They say they are aware of the identity of at least one of the alleged offenders and more may be identified by CCTV.
It’s not the first time the seaside town has been blighted by anti-social behaviour. Police have previously put out several warnings.

“Needless to say we will be paying them a visit in due course and it won’t be for just a warning. We will be speaking to their parents too and the offenders will be pursued through the criminal justice system.
“Parents, yet again I ask if you know what your children are up to or where they are at?” added the spokesperson.
