A headstone in Milltown Cemetery on Falls Road in Belfast has been damaged.
It is believed this damage was caused sometime between 10am on Tuesday (14 July) and 10am on Wednesday (15 July).
Constable Andrews is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact police at Woodbourne on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 633 15/07/20,” he added.
