Two men have been arrested by detectives investigating the theft of a double ATM machine from Tesco in Antrim in the early hours of yesterday morning (Friday).
The men, aged 26 and 43, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to steal. The 43-year-old man was released on police bail pending further enquiries while the 26-year-old man remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector McCubbin said the investigation is ongoing.
“I continue to appeal to anyone who has any information that can assist us with our enquiries to contact detectives in Antrim on 101, quoting reference 126 06/12/19.
‘Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” added the Detective Chief Inspector.
