There has been more interface disorder in north Belfast, with youths throwing bricks and bottles at police officers.
Youths emptied bins and hurled items at passing cars in Lanark Way.
An industrial bin was overturned and when police arrived on the scene last night (Sunday), the youths began throwing masonry, bricks and bottles.
“This is what our local residents are having to contend with. Anti-social behaviour and the risk of damage to persons/property driving past, or damage to property and cars as this is located close to a residential area of families who have young children and also older folks,” said a police spokesperson.
Police are also asking people to report incidents.
“We would ask that you report any suspicious activity to police. You can also report information to police using the Crimestoppers number,” added the spokesperson.
