A man in his 20s is being treated in hospital for serious head injuries sustained in an assault outside a house in west Belfast.
Police are investigating the incident which happened at Arundel Walk in the west of the city on Tuesday night. It was reported to them around 11.20pm
A man and woman, aged 26 and 19, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The man is currently in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries. It is believed that another man left the scene before the arrival of police and efforts are ongoing to determine his whereabouts.
