A woman was injured after being assaulted by a number of armed and masked men who forced their way into a house in Ballyduff in Newtownabbey, last night.
Three other people who were also in the property at Forthill Drive were uninjured.
Detectives are investigating the aggravated burglary which occurred just after 10:15pm and they’re appealing for witnesses.
The woman sustained an injury to her lip.
A door was damaged and a number of windows were smashed. Substantial damage was caused to a number of household items.
Police say enquiries are at an early stage, and detectives in Antrim are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw a number of men acting suspiciously to get in touch.
