A business at King Street in Belfast has been robbed by an armed man.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident last night (Monday) in which the culprit made off with a sum of money.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Gardiner said police received a report at approximately 8:40pm of a man having entered the premises armed with what was described as a handgun.
He made off toward the city centre. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is around 5″9′ tall, with dark skin and of slim build. He wore a dark coat with the hood up, and sunglasses.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the King Street area around this time and saw what happened, or anyone who has information they believe could assist our investigation to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101,” said the Detective Sergeant.
