A man who was assaulted in Belfast City Centre had to have an operation for a broken jaw and fractured chin.
Police are investigating the serious incident which occurred on Saturday 6 July at around 1:30am outside the Spar in Royal Avenue.
They have just released details about the incident and a description of a man they want to talk to.
Police want to identify a male suspect – described as white, approximately 20-25 years of age, 5ft 11″, with dirty fair hair which was shaved at the side of his head and longer on top.
He was wearing a cream jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and trainers. The man had a local Belfast accent and smokes.
