A 15-year-old boy has sustained facial injuries after being attacked in Larne.
The teenager was treated in hospital after he was assaulted by a number of people on the Old Glenarm Road in the town at around 11:30pm last night.
Police believe young people from Larne and Carrickfergus were attending an event which was being held in the area.
“We would appeal to anyone with information to contact police on 101 using reference 2574 from 31/10/19,” said a police spokesperson.
And police are asking parents to find out where their children were on Halloween night.
“Parents, were your children out in Larne for Halloween? Please have a conversation with them and see if they are aware of this serious assault,” added the spokesperson.
