Jewellery and cash from Christmas cards have been stolen in a spate of burglaries in Conlig and Bangor.
Callous burglars targeted the homes on Christmas Day.
Each of these incidents occurred sometime between noon and 7pm.
The suspects gained entry by smashing glass in doors and windows.
Detectives are investigating the spate of eight burglaries and attempted burglaries.
Houses on Stonebridge Lane and Stonebridge Avenue in Conlig were targeted along with two properties in the Ashbury Road and Ashbury Avenue area in Bangor. Two homes on the Silverbirch Road were burgled along with homes on Lord Wardens Crescent and Marlo Crescent. Jewellery and cash, some from Christmas cards, were taken from each.
Detective Constable Armstrong said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed anything that could assist the investigation.”
