A black Vauxhall Astra was clipped by a van driver travelling past it near the cemetery in Ballycarry.
This has resulted in the wing mirror being ripped off the Astra. The van did not stop following the hit and run.
This incident occurred on Friday (November 30) at about 9.30pm and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
It’s believed a car was travelling behind the Astra and the driver may have witnessed this.
