A silver Nissan Quashqai stolen in a burglary in north Belfast was involved in a hit and run.
The burglary was carried out at a house in Oldpark Square, sometime between Thursday, 24 December and Friday, 8 January.
A silver Nissan Quashqai was reported stolen.
At approximately 11.30am on Friday, 8 January police received a report that the Nissan Quashqai was involved in a hit and run with another vehicle at the junction of Mica Drive and Beechmount Street, Belfast.
On Saturday morning, the Nissan Quashqai was found abandoned in Clowney Street, Belfast.
Detective Sergeant Faulkner is appealing for information.
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this vehicle being driven off from Oldpark Square, Belfast to contact police. I would also ask anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the road traffic collision at Mica Drive/Beechmount Street and the car later being abandoned on Clowney Street to also get in contact with detectives at Musgrave, quoting reference 1696 08/01/21.
