Two men escaped with cash and cigarettes following a robbery at a shop in the Jasmine Way area of Dunmurry this morning (Thursday, August 13).
The incident happened at around 11am.
Police say one of the men was armed with a screwdriver and threatened the staff and demanded money.
The pair made off with a quantity of cigarettes and money.
The first man is described as being around 6ft tall, of slim build and he was wearing a light blue coat, grey shorts and a white mask.
The second man is described as being around 5ft 9” in height, of slim build and he was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and a knee bandage. He is believed to have a scar on his face.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101, quoting reference 619 13/08/20.
