Leo, the cat from Pet Sematary, has passed away, it’s just been announced.
The cat who played the role of Church in the 2019 adaptation of Stephen King’s famous book, has died just weeks after the film’s premiere. Leo was one of four Maine Coon cats to play the part.
Animal trainer Kirk Jarrett, his owner, announced the sad news on the Instagram account dedicated to the cat.
It is with great sadness that we tell you that Leo has passed away. He will forever be missed by his human and fur family. May his star always shine bright, Jarrett wrote.
