A cyclist was taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Banbridge.
The 53-year-old man was struck by a car close to the quarry on the northbound carriageway at around 4.45pm on Friday.
Police investigating the collision on the A1 Dromore Road are appealing for witnesses.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment for ‘serious’ injuries.
The 31-year-old man driving a Mini Clubman was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He was subsequently released on police bail.
