A cyclist has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in west Belfast. Police have described the man’s injuries as ‘serious’.
The incident happened this morning (Sunday) on the Glenside Road in Dunmurray, at around 8:30am.
A 23-year-old, who was driving the vehicle, has been arrested on suspicion of a number of driving offences.
Police say the Glenside Road remains closed. They are appealing for witnesses.
